It’s finally here! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale finally opened to everyone at midnight, not just cardholders! What makes this sale so good is that new releases for fall/winter are on sale, not just the summer items that they’re trying to get rid of. Prices go back up after August 7th.
This is what I ordered so far during Early Access:
Sizes and colors are going fast; some things sold out within the first day and I missed my chance (like this vest), so place those orders sooner than later.
My burgundy top up there was actually cancelled; they must have oversold. So bummed!
I really recommend getting a Nordstrom card, not just for Early Access. I’ve had the one that’s a debit card linked to a bank account for many years now and love the rewards.
Last night I went in and tried some items on and will share here.
Loved this drapey, buttery-soft leather jacket ($239) and this lightweight sweater/pullover ($39.90). The jacket I tried on was an M and the sweater was an XS (runs very oversized). The sweater is sheer, so it needs something underneath, but it also doesn’t add bulk, which is perfect for transitional fall weather here in SoCal.
This belted cardigan ($44.90) was another favorite thing I tried on (which was a limited amount of time, since baby girl in the back wasn’t into #nSale as much as me). I tried on both colors and can’t decide which is better; I’m leaning towards this oatmeal texture pattern. I love that it’s lightweight, again perfect for SoCal. I’d order either an S or M.
I was surprised how much I liked this Current/Elliott leopard print tee. Here I’m trying on size ‘2’ (they have their own sizing, it’s not a traditional women’s size 2). It’s meant to be slightly oversized. As you can see you can dress it down with the cardigan above and dress it up with a pleated faux leather skirt ($79.90) like this. The skirt I tried on here was an M (there was limited sizing in store), but I would order an S.
I usually stay away from these kinds of Free People tops because I don’t typically like to show my bra (and can’t wear those cute bralettes since I need the support of traditional bras). However, this black top might be an exception. Still have to think about it. There wasn’t anything smaller than an L in store, so this was falling off my shoulders and gaping way too wide in the back, so I’d order an S.
Loved the quality of this ALLSAINTS suede tote ($249.90). The rust color is so rich!
I’ve been a Rebecca Minkoff fan for at least 10 years now, so naturally I’m in love with this large suede satchel ($263.90), especially the crossbody option as a mom. It reminds me of Balenciaga bags.
Also, here are my outfit details from what I wore shopping and running errands yesterday:
