Updated Living Room for the New Year

New Year, new living room! Instead of resolutions, I have this urge to update things in our home, so we’re likely going to turn this into a little series. It might also have something to do with nesting during pregnancy, haha, as well as the fact a couple of our friends have just bought a new house with Forest Hill Real Estate Inc. Brokerage and it’s beautiful. I want my home to look like a new home too, haha. There are a few home improvements I’d like to make so I’ve been looking into secured lenders on Lendingexpert.co.uk to find out more about what’s involved. It seems like something I’d definitely be interested! I love looking at new pieces of furniture that I could get for my living room. Things like this white high gloss coffee table or a new tv unit really excite me.

Firstly, I updated the look of our living room sectional by changing up all the throw pillows with new ones from Loom Decor, and I think it was just what we needed. And I rearranged the furniture a bit after all the Christmas decor came down for a change of scenery. I do that every few months to keep things interesting. 🙂

Loom Decor is a pretty awesome home decor website where you can create custom throw pillows, curtains, bedding, table linens, and outdoor decor — all online, so you can be your own interior designer! They carry 400+ decorative fabrics from top brands like Kravet and Robert Allen.

If you need help, they also offer complimentary design assistance. My stylist helped me narrow down which fabrics would be better suited for kids in my color palette, since that was my main concern.

One of my favorite features is that you can search by fabric so you can continue a unifying pattern throughout the home. Say you love that throw pillow in the marble print; you can also get matching custom drapery, shades, bedding, or even table linens for another room!

Everything is made in the USA and arrives in 2-3 weeks.

Next up is organizing my makeup counter and some kitchen things followed by making room for baby number two, so stay tuned.
