Happy New Year, friends! This is my first blog post of 2018, and it’s been so nice to take a short break for the holidays and enjoy time with family and friends while reflecting on what I’d like to accomplish here this year. I’m so happy to be back and feel more inspired than ever.
If you have specific topics you’d like to see more of here on Bond Girl Glam, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me via email, blog comments or Instagram. Some of you already regularly ask me for specific types of posts, and I really appreciate hearing that kind of feedback so I can continue to cover topics that interest you ladies most!
This year is very exciting for us because I’ll be releasing my blogging ebook and telling you everything you really want to know about blogging, including how some of us make a full-time income with our passion. I am so excited to be releasing this ebook and I encourage anyone thinking about making their own ebook to read how to publish an ebook, as it is easier than I thought. I’ve been reflecting on my blogging and social media journey these past few weeks. There’s been so much growth and I’ve learned so much yet have so much more to learn! The internet is a constantly-changing environment, but that’s also what makes it so fun and refreshing. I hope to inspire you if you want to start a blog or take your blog to the next level. If you have any specific blogging questions you’d like me to cover in my ebook, please let me know. The ebook will most likely be available for purchase on my blog in February 2018. My daughter goes back to preschool 2 days a week next week, so I’ll be finishing up the chapters when she’s at school.
Now onto this outfit. It’s finally cold enough in the evenings that we can wear our outerwear here in SoCal – woohoo! This suede moto jacket is 40% off right now in this burgundy color as well as black. I’ve had it for a few years now and am really happy with the quality, especially for the price. It’s real suede and around $112 right now. The silver hardware is beautiful too. Scoop it up now, and you’ll be wearing this cool yet classic moto for years. The fit is true to size.
My fox-fur pom beanie is another purchase from a few years ago that’s still serving me well. It’s a really warm beanie because it’s lined inside with a fleece material, so if you’re planning a trip to snow or live in a colder place, this hat will keep your head nice and toasty while looking super chic. It comes in 5 colors. If you need a lower-priced pom beanie, I absolutely love this one, which isn’t lined but has a removable pom-pom for washing.
My leggings are these awesome Mother Tucker compression leggings by Belly Bandit. They help suck you in postpartum and go up pretty much to your bra, providing nice support for your tummy and additional coverage if you’re breastfeeding like me.
My Stuart Weitzman boots are called the Highland style; I don’t think it’s a current style anymore and has been replaced with the Hiline, which has a slightly chunkier heel. The nutmeg suede color in the new Stuart Wetizman Hiline style is really beautiful and 30% off right now. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly OTK boot option, these Chinese Laundry ones look pretty similar to the SW’s and are just under $80 right now; they have a partial zipper on the inner side for easy on and off.
