I’m so happy to be writing to you from our new home! If you watch my Stories on Instagram, I’m sure you’re well aware that we moved this past weekend. There will definitely be more home content to come — we are so happy and excited and grateful to be in a house with a yard. Mr. Bond and I often look at each other in disbelief that we’re not in an apartment anymore. I just bought my first washer/dryer set and french door refrigerator, which is totally adult life goals, haha. Suburbia rocks. 🙂
Right in line with our move, Southern California has gotten some “real” fall/winter weather these last few days (about time), and I’ve rediscovered a lot of my winter pieces that were hidden in the back of my old closet. I love the summertime, but there’s nothing like a little chill to put things in perspective and refresh you. I feel like we get the best of both worlds here in SoCal, retail included. The best sales tend to happen at the end of seasons, so be sure to check out any of the coats you may have been eyeing the last few months.
I bought this camel coat at Club Monaco a few years back, and I just love how you can look at it as either a structured cardigan or an unstructured coat. They don’t sell this exact one anymore (I’ve linked some camel coat options below), but Club Monaco makes some of the most gorgeous coats ever if you’re looking to add a quality outerwear piece to your wardrobe. They’re a little pricier, but they last for years and years. And a lot of them are on sale right now too, since we’re at a transitional time in seasons.
I love the monochrome look for winter and spring (well, year-round actually), so I wanted to put as much beige on beige together to elevate this look in a really simple way. This beige melange sweater is a great cut and at a great price point. I love a good mock neck that isn’t itchy/doesn’t rub against my neck constantly. And white skinny jeans are appropriate year-round in my book!
