Ever since my first pregnancy, I’ve been choosing organic and non-GMO whenever I can for my kids. I value organic, natural foods for my whole family, but for my littles ones especially. I seek out organic foods for my kids because their developing bodies can be very susceptible to the chemicals used in conventional, non-organic farming.
Back in the 1980s, a California mom just like me started Healthy Times after not being able to find many healthy baby food options in her local grocery stores. Since then, the company has continued to produce wholesome baby products in the U.S. Healthy Times’ sustainable sourcing, organic ingredients, and lack of additives make me feel guilt-free when I give my kids a snack on the go.
Our favorite snacks from them are the adorable Healthy Times Organic Hugga Bear Cookies and the Organic Arrowroot Cookies, which are a great source of calcium, B vitamins, iron and zinc, without any added sugar. These toddler cookies are the perfect size for little hands and great for on the go. I couldn’t ask for anything more from my child’s “first cookie,” and my kids have no idea these cute and tasty snacks are actually good for them!
The Hugga Bear Cookies come in different bear shapes with a few butterfly-shaped cookies sprinkled in, and the Arrowroot Cookies are in the shape of a scalloped round flower with a hole in the middle. Both are similar in size, just different shapes. We love the Chocolate Chip and Vanilla flavors in our house! Both kinds of cookies are suitable from 12+ months.
I love that Healthy Times has recently updated their packaging to make it easier to read, including age recommendations and all the non-GMO organic ingredients printed on the box. Throughout the update, though, they’ve stayed true to their legacy of wholesome recipes and the cute signature animal characters.
As a mom, I’m a fan of Healthy Times products because they support every stage of a young child’s development with the vitamins and minerals they need.
Hugga Bear Cookies and Arrowroot Cookies are both available on the Healthy Times website, their official Amazon store, and iHerb.
