High-End vs. Drugstore // Hair Mask Edition

Today Bond Girl Glam brings you a high-end versus drugstore product comparison.  The focus will be on the two hair masks I’ve been trying side-by-side:  the Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque and the L’Oreal Paris Advanced Haircare Total Repair 5 Damage Erasing Balm.   Hair masks are an excellent and necessary addition to your haircare routine; they’re like supercharged conditioners.  I will sometimes skip my conditioner for a hair mask treatment on my ends, because I find that my hair ends up a lot silkier in the same amount of time it would take to apply a conditioner.  They’re especially useful in the drier winter months and for color-treated hair. The Macadamia mask has been a long-time favorite of mine; the one pictured above is probably my fourth repurchase.  It’s a cult-favorite among the Internet beauty world, and for good reason. The L’Oreal mask is a newer purchase.  I generally like L’Oreal as a drugstore brand, so I thought I’d give it a try for you girls.  And at around $6-7, it’s a steal compared to the Macadamia.  It claims to repair a year of damage in one use, so with a claim like that, I knew I had…
