It’s been almost a month since I gave birth to little baby Vienna, and since then I’ve gotten more and more comfortable dressing to nurse at home and in public. At first I felt I had to wear either a nursing tank (these ones are my fave) or a button down shirt, but I’ve now ventured into sweaters with a tank underneath. Woohoo! It’s the little things that make me happy. During pregnancy, I had to relearn how to dress a growing bump, and now as a new mom, I have to relearn how to dress to accommodate breastfeeding.
I paired a favorite wool felt floppy hat with a grey fur vest over top a cream sweater for a boho glam feel. Black skinny jeans have been my go-to of late, and I’ll try to venture out into more daring territory shortly, but it’s nice to wear something that works and makes you feel put-together quickly. My Gucci tote has always been on my mind as a possible diaper bag alternative, since it can fit everything you’d ever need and expands to an even larger size if need be. These boots are old favorites from J.Crew (sadly not a current style, but I found similar ones here).
