If you’ve been following for some time, you’ve noticed most of my clothing is on the more affordable side. I tend to invest in my accessories. Makes the entire outfit a lot nicer somehow and doesn’t bother me if I get a stain, etc., as a mom.
This pretty LWD is perfectly classy and under $68. I always get a size Medium from overseas websites like Chicwish, since their frames are usually on the petite side (which I’m not), plus I don’t want to deal with return shipping that far so I’d rather have it a bit loose than too tight.
I’ve been sent personal messages before asking what I think of Chicwish. I absolutely recommend them! Otherwise I wouldn’t have like 20 of their pieces that I actually wear (not just blog showpieces). Their stuff really impresses me for the price. Just think of their sizing like Juniors if you’re taller and bustier like me, and you’ll be golden.
Now other Asian websites… not created equally let me tell you. My experience has been that if it costs $10, it’s likely going to be complete trash (too thin of a material, falls apart after one wash, very odd cuts). Just use common sense, babes.
My d’Orsay flats are one of my most-worn spring shoes. They’re not too bad either at $135 and are so comfy/moldable on the inside. Nordie’s recommends ordering a half size down (I got 8.5, even though I sometimes do 9US). I love how fast I can put them on and run out the door, plus they come in 6 different colors/patterns. I’m considering the blue ones too.
What’re your plans for Mother’s Day? I can’t wait for Vienna to make me macaroni necklaces one day, hahaha.
