Every mama knows what’s best for her own babies, but in case you want a sneak peak my baby registry must-haves and what I’d register for at buybuy BABY if I were pregnant again, you’ve come to the right blog post! I made my registry at buybuy BABY with my first baby and loved the experience, from the goody bag to the knowledgeable staff to the great selection of gear. They have Stokke, Bugaboo and other higher-end brands in stock to touch and feel too, so that was a major selling point for me.
My original registry is gone since I made it 3.5 years ago — that would’ve been fun to post! BUT… I made a new baby registry at buybuy BABY that you can copy and use as a starting point for your own.
My sample baby registry has a lot of duplicates, especially under strollers and car seats. I’ve added my favorite options for both single strollers and convertible strollers that grow with your family. Whichever stroller you pick, I recommend getting the car seat that goes with it, if there is one. If there isn’t, pretty much every stroller brand makes car seat adapters for the major car seat brands. Also, I picked the more gender-neutral and boyish variations of items since I recently had a baby boy and have all that stuff fresh in my mind.
My philosophy in picking baby gear is to choose once and to choose well. I tend to gravitate towards quality items that are gender-neutral (mostly the bigger purchases) and can grow with my family. I want my baby gear to not only be functional and safe but also beautiful — a natural extension of my home and style.
Registry perks at buybuy BABY include a goody bag full of samples and coupons, a registry completion coupon, free shipping rewards, registry announcement cards and an amazing assortment of products to choose from. It’s also really easy change up your registry online, which is what I did for this post.
I still come in regularly for all my baby needs. If you have a store in your area, you have to go! Buybuy BABY is actually a sister store of Bed Bath & Beyond, and their coupons work there too as long as they’re not expired. It’s set up a lot like Bed Bath inside.
I also love that buybuy BABY has a station where you can gift wrap. I love buying things for my pregnant friends and then wrapping them right away in store with all the supplies I need right there. It’s a really cute wrapping paper print too.
OH. And they have a feeding/changing room in the back!
With the huge selection of baby products out there and new ones always coming out, it can be really overwhelming to get your registry just right for you and your little one on the way. I find it really helpful to see what other mamas are picking out, plus it’s fun to be a little nosy, right? 🙂 Buybuy BABY also has an “Ask a Friend” and “Copy a Friend’s Registry” tool to help you build yours!
Here are some of my favorite things from our recent trip to the store. Be sure to check out my sample baby registry for the rest of my faves from buybuy BABY.
