A few weeks ago we received the pink Silver Cross Doll’s Pram in the mail, and I have to gush over the quality and beauty of this gorgeous heirloom toy. Understandably, not even would be able to afford a pram like this, as it is quite pricey. But with that being said, by checking out sites like https://www.mamma1.com/, you’ll be able to make your own decision when it comes to what stroller you’d prefer to buy. One within your budget of course. I knew it was going to be nice, but I didn’t realize it was an actual miniature reproduction of their full-size classic pram! The quality has just blown me away. I hope to pass it down in our family and know it’ll last forever. This doll stroller is kind of my childhood dream come true, so I’m honestly having just as much fun “playing” with it as my daughter. She especially loves the Princess Rag Doll and Darted Satin Cushion accessory set.
Silver Cross Doll Prams are mini versions of the luxury British brand’s iconic carriages, handmade in Yorkshire, England. Ours came straight from England, which felt really special. Silver Cross uses the finest materials and traditional methods for their doll’s prams, featuring the same exact coach-built quality and style that is used for the full-size classic prams. Our doll pram literally looks and feels just like the full-size version!
I’m incredibly impressed by the the quality of this Silver Cross doll’s pram – the hand-stitched sparkling pink fabric, the high-polish brilliant white body with the sparkling metallic finish, the hand-painted pink fine lines, the high-polish chrome accents, and the high-gloss wooden handle. The details are just unreal! I mean, even the c-spring suspension is the same as the classic pram. The Princess Rag Doll, Darted Satin Cushion, and Matching Changing Bag make for the loveliest accessories to compete the whole play set. Silver Cross doll prams are available in a variety of stunning fashions and color-coordinated accessories, such as navy, red, pink, purple, and light blue at the moment.
I’m not really sure why I get so giddy about classic prams, but I think it’s something to do with my childhood. My own mama used a similar pram for me in Ukraine. I’m a modern woman, but classic heirloom pieces like this just make me go crazy (in a good way)! If you follow me on Instagram and watch my Instastories, you saw me unbox and build this pram straight away. Having this made me look at isofix compatible prams, I wish my kids were young enough to go back in a pram!!
If you’re looking for the ultimate Christmas or birthday gift for a little girl, a Silver Cross doll’s pram would definitely be it. It’s a larger doll pram and is almost as big as the Restoration Hardware bassinet I use for my son. My daughter is 2 and a half (she’ll be 3 right before Christmas), so it’s something that she can play with for years to come. When not in use, it makes for a beautiful display piece in a children’s play room! And I absolutely love it when the kid’s toys I bring into our home don’t have to be hidden because they’re beautiful and match our home’s style anyway. Our life with little ones now completely revolves around baby gear and toys, so it’s nice when those things are beautiful to look at as well.
Although they’ve been known for their classic pram styles since 1877, Silver Cross has also recently launched a single- to double-stroller this year called the Wave. This is a top-of-the-line stroller that works well for today’s modern on-the-go lifestyle. I feel like the Wave is one of the best luxury double stroller options out there right now if you’re on the search!
