#OOTD // Tartan Plaid Blouse & White Boyfriend Jeans

I am so thankful for our Southern California weather being so mild that I can wear clothes that seem more appropriate for spring in colder parts of our country.  I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely getting some spring fever, and I have some pretty spring-themed outfits planned to share with you soon!

I wore this casual yet pulled together outfit to church the other Sunday and loved the pop of red my tartan blouse brought to an otherwise neutral look.  As a bonus, the top is nursing-friendly for any breastfeeding mommies out there.  I paired the red tartan pattern with my trusty leopard clutch for pattern interest; I think the tartan and leopard go together unexpectedly.

My cardigan is an old favorite that I tend to throw over anything when I need to head out quickly, and my distressed white jeans are a slimmer boyfriend cut (read: way more flattering).  Heels are my black suede Kate Spades that I’ve been wearing a lot lately, since the heel is low enough to be rather comfortable as a new mom (compared to some of my other heels).
