#OOTD // Black Pom Pom Dress & Statement Earrings

I can’t believe this little girl is already half a year old!  Soon we’ll be planning her first birthday — oh my.  In case you missed it, I just posted her 6-month update with our favorites here.

With summer officially upon us, I’m in love with off-the-shoulder dresses and tops as a style in general and secondly as nursing-friendly fashion.  This black pom pom dress is my first off-the-shoulder purchase probably ever, and I love how sassy it makes me feel, like that dancing lady in the red dress emoji.  It’s a no-thought easy outfit that I’ve been wearing a lot recently.  I’m hoping to add a few more off-the-shoulder pieces to my summer rotation soon.

I paired the pom pom dress with my fab new tortoiseshell pom pom statement earrings, (which are on major sale right now with code DAYTHREE — coming down to $32.59, way less than I paid for mine) because sometimes it’s fun to play up a shape with repetition.  And then we add a little more tortoiseshell with my sunnies and we’ve got a totally ‘me’ outfit.  Speaking of my sunglasses, they’re an awesome find for $60; I keep wearing them almost daily, and when I accidentally left them at my parents’ house the other week I had a mini panic attack thinking I already managed to misplace them.  Of course, I can tell the quality isn’t the same as my Pradas or Tom Fords, but they’re still my current faves for going to the pool, beach, or just running mommy errands.

The reversible tote I’m wearing here works as either a black or brown bag and is just under $50!  It’s faux leather, but it’s made well and looks like it’ll hold up well over time.  It comes in 6 reversible color combos, and there’s also a zipper pouch inside to protect your smaller, more valuable purse contents.
