Since it’ll be my first Mother’s Day this year, I partnered with Mustela to put together a collage of beautiful things I think new mamas like myself would love to receive as a small token of appreciation for the wonderful and important work we do. The best gifts aren’t things, of course, but sometimes a girl just wants to be treated, right? A little something special wouldn’t hurt in between all the dirty diapers and spit-up.
Whether you’re a new mama yourself or you need some ideas on what to get your aunt, sister, wife, or friend, I’ve got you covered with gifts that’ll surely be hits, many of which I have personally tried. Best of all, I’ve included some very inexpensive options (starting at $12) and some free/almost-free options!
Be sure to enter the Bond Girl Glam giveaway for a Mustela Moms Know Best Bundle (valued at $123) at the very bottom via the Rafflecopter app (ends May 10th, 2015).
From May 1st-10th, Mustela is inviting moms to share their best piece of advice to new moms or moms-to-be on their Facebook page. There will be 2 daily winners receiving an assortment of Mustela products, so be sure to join in for some mommy talk and chances to win some of their beautiful products! I’ve loved using their line since I was pregnant.
Remember to take care of yourself — both your emotional and physical well-being — so you can take good care of your baby.
Have you seen my Shop sections above? Just hover over the ‘Shop’ tab with your mouse. I regularly update the Women’s, Men’s, Baby, Maternity, & Home sections with items I either currently use or would love to try and think my Bond Girls would enjoy as well!
Gold Initial Necklace // Yes, I’m that cheesy mom who wants personalized jewelry representing each of her children.
Classic Pearl Earrings // Mr. Bond gave me these pearls almost 5 years ago on our honeymoon, and they make me feel like such a lady. Definitely a closet staple.
Classic Pumps // I know these aren’t for every mommy, but this blog is called Bond Girl Glam for a reason. Even after we have babies, we still want to look and feel our best. I’m saving up for this pair (not exactly sure which color) as my own push present, hahaha.
Gorgeous Perfume // I love this Tory Burch scent. It’s so pretty on a vanity, so it doubles as home décor too.
Fancy Soap // Showers in general are luxuries for new moms, so why not make the experience spa-like, even if it’s just for 5 minutes?
Mom & Baby Skincare // Little V and I have personally used and loved all of the items in this limited edition bundle, and I think any new mama (or expecting mama) would seriously appreciate them as well, whether together or individually. The scents are gorgeous too. Be sure to enter the giveaway below!
Colorful Nail Polish // I’ve always loved having painted nails, but it’s even more fun now when little V is interested in the color on my nails. Beauty product that doubles as a baby toy when applied on mom? Sign me up!
Buttery-Soft Robe // Every mama needs a high-quality, indulgent robe to wrap herself in at the end of a long day. This one comes in 5 colors too.
Quality iPhone Case // Moms tend to be the unofficial family photographer, especially in today’s age of smart phones. Make sure she has a good case to protect the “camera.” I have the same case in a different design and never take it off.
Good Lip Balm // This is probably my favorite lip balm stick, and it comes in quite a few flavors/tints. I’ve never met anyone that didn’t love it.
Pretty Candle // Not only does this candle smell good, the packaging is absolutely gorgeous as well.
Foldable Tote // I have this tote in black; it’s a classic design and incredibly useful, especially for travel.
Nice Nursing Bra // This one is called the “Sexy Mama” and for good reason. Good support is especially important if you’re nursing.
1. Breakfast in Bed (yes, please!)
3. Gift Card to Spa (mani/pedi or massage sounds amazing)
4. Handmade Card (especially cute when made by her children/grandchildren)
