The original Lorac PRO Palette is a must-have eyeshadow palette for anyone, in my opinion. So when I heard that a second version was coming out, I was really intrigued. I picked it up at Ulta a few weeks ago, and I’ve been using it daily ever since.
Just like the first palette, the Lorac PRO 2 is sleek and travel-friendly. The finish on the second is a matte grey, whereas the first palette is a matte black.
The top row of the Lorac PRO 2 is all beautiful matte shades, while the bottom row is an array of shimmers. Having this many matte eyeshadow shades in one palette is somewhat of a rarity (take the Naked palettes for example), which makes the Lorac PRO palettes so versatile.
Just like the first Lorac PRO palette, the second version comes with a mini Lorac ‘Behind the Scenes’ Eye Primer, which happens to be a great eyeshadow primer that I use.
My most used shades have been Rosé, Cool Gray, Lt. Brown, and Buff. I can’t wait to do more smokey eyes with Plum, Navy, Jade, and Cocoa.
How gorgeous is this deconstructed version of the Lorac PRO 2?
Apparently, the Lorac PRO Palette 2 is kitten-approved as well.
…the look of guilt. She’s still the cutest, though.
The Final Verdict:
If you’re a makeup lover like me, you won’t be disappointed with the new Lorac PRO Palette 2. If you’ve ever tried the original palette, you can expect the same quality of pigmentation with the second – buttery, creamy, pigmented, soft. All you need is a light tap of your brush; a heavy hand can cause fallout, so you might need to tap your brush off before application. The colors blend very easily, just like the first. No regrets with this purchase.
