Something I do every single day is pack snacks and a drink for my toddler before we leave the house. Because I’ve totally been at a loss of ideas before, I wanted to share what we usually take with us with you mamas. Yogurt pouches are one of our faves, along with cheese sticks, apple slices, berries, crackers, raisins, popcorn, carrot sticks, dried fruit, sunflower seeds, chips, cereal, and granola or fig bars.
I have a picky eater on my hands — like the ultimate pickiest of eaters I feel. She actually enjoys a decent variety of foods but not every day; it’s almost as if it depends on the phase of the moon. If you ask her if she wants this or that her answer is always no, even if she actually does want it, haha. It’s a struggle I’ve been dealing with for a long time, especially since she’s turned two and started showing her independence more. I’m happy that she knows what she wants as a little girl though, even if it makes mom-ing a little harder for me. 🙂
Our favorite yogurt pouches for on-the-go are by Kabrita. They’re made from non-GMO goat milk and are naturally easy to digest, suitable for babies 6 months on. Vienna’s favorite flavors are the Mixed Berry and Banana & Natural Vanilla Bean. They also make great school snacks since they’re shelf stable. Check out the generous giveaway for 12-packs of each of their yogurt pouch flavors at the bottom of the post!
Why goat milk, though? Kabrita is a good solution for children with cow milk sensitivity. It’s gentler on their little tummies. Something to note is that Kabrita is not a solution for a confirmed cow milk protein allergy as goat milk protein may also provoke an allergic reaction.
Nutritional value is the most important factor when it comes to the snacks I pack, and these Kabrita goat milk yogurt pouches fit the bill. Their yogurts are non-GMO project verified and 70% organic ingredients with no sugar, preservatives, artificial colors or flavors added.
Shelf stability is also a major plus with the Kabrita goat milk yogurt pouches. However, like with all pouches I think they taste their best chilled, so I grab one out of the refrigerator right before we leave and try to have her finish it within an hour or so.
Both Vienna and I love the taste of goat milk, in case you’ve never tried it! Vienna is a huge cow milk lover since I stopped breastfeeding her just before 2 years old (I’m talking Costco 3-packs basically every week for her), but I’ve definitely bought her goat milk before out of curiosity and she never acted like it was any different than cow’s milk. The girl likes her milk!
Kabrita also has a toddler goat milk formula for ages 12-24 months in case you’re curious. A few of my mom friends give their kids the formula; that’s how I actually first heard of Kabrita before we decided to work together!
Kabrita is offering 15% off their site with code BONDGIRLGLAM (excluding the goat milk formula trial offer, which is already an awesome deal)! Their goat milk yogurt pouches are also available on Amazon.com with free shipping.
We’re running a generous giveaway for 12-packs of each of their yogurt pouch flavors at the bottom of the post!

Mila Kharik
Great post something I have been wanting to try since my daughter has allergies to Cow Milk.
Irina Bond
Thanks for reading, Mila! If your daughter has a diagnosed allergy to cow milk protein, she will likely also react to the protein in goat milk. If it is a sensitivity or intolerance, goat milk is often a good solution. xo

Excited to try these! We love goat milk, but haven’t had a chance to try these pouches!

Bananas, nut butter & dried berries.

Bananas – forgot to add those to our list too! Just gotta be careful not to squish ’em in my bag. xo

We usually do what a lot of people do, and that is take bagged dry cereal or snack crackers.

Always a winner! xo

One of the twitter follows, I accidentally copy and pasted the wrong thing, but I do follow. For snacks on the go, we like snack crackers, grapes or sliced cucumbers. If we’re travelling I usually have a few pouches for them to slurp on, but I wait for the car to be stopped. If they squeeze to hard it makes such a mess.
Irina Bond
I know what you mean! That’s smart! Cleaning those car seats is a hassle. xo
