I know a lot of parents have been looking on photography sites like https://aidallanos.com/ trying to find the best photographer to capture their family’s photos this holiday period. And I was lucky enough to find an amazing photographer this year. Usually I’m a neutrals kinda girl, but this year I’m really feeling the red for Christmas. And red plaid is oh-so-festive! I can’t help but reach for crimson hues this time of year – in my daily outfits too.
Vienna’s black velvet & red plaid dress inspired our Christmas card outfits this year, followed by her sweet tartan headband and Sebi’s plaid shirt. To balance it out, I wore an all-red dress and Mr. Bond an all-red dress shirt. I love how the different plaids and tartans and solid reds came together!
Although the photos turned out much better than I thought they would (Shawna is a fast-clicker and always gets the shot, even with squirmy little ones), this was the hardest family photoshoot we’ve ever done. Vienna is a sweet-natured little girl and overall well-behaved, but she was feeling quite independent the morning of this shoot and didn’t want to be in photos with us. I can’t imagine how hard it is to take family photos for you ladies with more than 2 little kids! I’m still glad we did it, because we got some beautiful memories out of it.
And just in case you’re wondering, this is where I ordered our Christmas cards (and have been doing so for a few years now). I received our cards this past Friday and need to start sending them out this week. Their quality is amazing, the designs are absolutely gorgeous, printing and shipping is fast, and the customization is endless. Also, once you enter your addressees once, they’re saved in your account for next year; all you have to do is update any changes.
Lastly, I get asked about my red lipstick on Instastories pretty regularly. I’m wearing my favorite liquid lipstick in these photos; the color is Beso. I reach for this lip color (and red nail polish) every year as soon as the temps start to cool.
