With the warmer California weather, I’ve been inclined to wear my long, flowy dresses.
One of the hottest trends of the season is the white on white trend. I’m loving all the head-to-toe white.
When I saw this botanical print peplum top, I fell in love with the origami-like shape and just knew I had to try it on. It’s by the Australian brand Cameo, which makes contemporary clothing with a knack for gorgeous cuts and prints. I paired it with some pastel green cropped skinny jeans and sky-high heels. You know how they say, “A Sunday well-spent brings a week of content.” Well, yesterday was so nice. Mr. Bond and I went on a brunch date together, and this is what I wore. With spring officially in bloom, I went with a light and flowy maxi skirt and a striped thin knit, since it was surprisingly somewhat chilly in Orange County (for the pre-spring heat wave we’ve experienced). This past Saturday was the Simply Stylist event at the Grove in Los Angeles with Catt Sadler as the host. I learned so much about blogging and can’t wait to take Bond Girl Glam to the next level. This is what I wore to the event, and I thought I’d share. I paired a rose gold sequin blazer with a black & white geometric print knit dress. Since it’s so hot here in Southern California in the middle of March, this outfit may not be appropriate for weather everywhere else; you could still add sheer tights and closed-toe pumps or booties in cooler scenarios. When we think of spring, we immediately associate it with feminine floral prints. In my opinion, Ted Baker London has come out with some of the best floral prints this season. In particular, this full floral skirt complete with a petticoat underneath has got me swooning. My long-time photographer friend, Liana Mikah, was in town last week, and we met up for brunch at Bottega Louie. That place is seriously magical and other-worldly; there’s a pink tint to everything with all the beautiful pastels everywhere! She snapped some shots of me wearing my new Ted Baker ultra-girly skirt in the ultra-girliest of all places. How I love me some French macarons in those pretty pastel boxes! Ladurée in Paris is on the bucket list. Be sure to follow Bond Girl Glam on Bloglovin’ to never miss an #OOTD! A few days ago I had a great mail day. I unwrapped my Clare Vivier leopard print clutch, and I was so elated with the quality of the materials! Each piece is different from any other because of the print. Immediately to Instagram we went. I still had my gorgeous yellow roses from the updated bedroom post. I can’t wait to wear this clutch for nights out and Sunday brunch. I just love how it folds over; it’s just the right size to hold in my hand or under my arm as well. Also, leopard is a neutral, right?! I paired the clutch with simple black and white and my crazy distressed jeans. The Pigalles were my first pair of Christian Louboutins a few years ago – so happy with that choice, and I’ll keep them forever! Can someone say toe cleavage? The flat (non-foldover) version of this clutch is available for preorder on Revolve Clothing right now.
