I’ve always dreamed of wearing a pretty tulle skirt, and when I came across this ivory one from Shabby Apple, I knew I’d have fun styling it. Tulle skirts just make me want to attend a girly party and twirl around! I’ve even considered making one myself. With 6 layers of tulle, this one would make for the perfect birthday outfit.
I paired it with a fun peplum-style striped halter-neck top I bought at Anthropologie some years back; I’ve found that (non-maternity) peplum tops can be fun to wear while pregnant. The cute bow belt is from Shabby Apple as well.
At 25 weeks pregnant, I wore the skirt above the bump. If you’re not pregnant, you could wear it at the natural waistline, and it would hit a little lower than the knee (for reference, I’m 5’9″). The satin lining doesn’t have much stretch, so if you are between sizes, I’d say order up.
A big thanks to Mr. Bond for shooting this #BumpStyle post for me yesterday evening. We had the most lovely SoCal sunset (see the pink/orange/purple sunset shot below), which made for some pretty lighting. Baby girl is still growing and kicking up a storm, and we are getting even more excited to meet her right before Christmas! BEST CHRISTMAS PRESENT EVER!
