Airport Outfit Ideas & A Giveaway (Closed)

You’ve planned and packed the outfits for your final destination, but now what do you wear to the airport? Now, some key considerations cannot be overlooked. For a start, you have to make sure you are wearing appropriate shoes. Who wants to run back to the house frantically in heels when you think you forgot to set the security alarm system for home (don’t worry it will be set… just like every other time you’ve had to do the run of fear). You want to be comfortable but not frumpy while having the option of layers for hotter and colder temperature changes during the various stages of travel.

The first basic travel piece I think of is classic black leggings. They go way beyond travel, but they’re especially great for sitting in cramped spaces for hours at a time! I’ve put together 3 airport outfit ideas based around a pair of leggings and a cami.

My friends at RejuvaHealth were kind enough to offer Bond Girl Glam readers a chance to win a pair of the black slimming leggings that I’m wearing in this post (scroll to the bottom to enter). I went to college with Kelsey, the owner of RejuvaHealth, and I’m so proud of what she’s accomplished since starting her own line of fashionable legwear. I couldn’t be happier to support her and the ingenious products her company has come up with! The leggings I’m wearing here are actually compression leggings, so they’re perfect for anyone who travels often or just wants a bit of a slimming effect. They feel like leggings with a lift!

As always, be sure to follow Bond Girl Glam on Bloglovin’ for future posts like this.

How To Build An Easy (And Chic) Airport Outfit:

1. Start with a pair of black leggings.

Be sure to scroll to the bottom for a chance to win a pair of the RejuvaHealth leggings that I’m wearing in each of the 3 outfits below!

2. Add a stretchy cami.

3. Top off the basics with outerwear of your choice, whether it be a trench coat, a cardigan, or a jacket. Airports and travel, in general, can be chilly at times, so wearing your outerwear will not only be functional but also save space in your luggage and carry-on.

4. Add a pair of comfy shoes that are easy to take off and put back on during security – slip-on boots or booties, as well as sneakers or foldable flats, are great options. A pair of flats are probably the easiest pair of shoes to wear at an airport. Not only are they easy to wear with most outfits, they’re often comfortable too. Perhaps something like these European designed ballet flats would be a wise choice for an airport, however, this choice is up to you. Overall, comfort is key. Whatever you feel most comfortable in, you should wear!

5. Keep accessories such as jewelry, belts, and hats to somewhat of a minimum, since you’ll have to take them all off during security. You can still wear them, of course; just keep the wrist-to-elbow arm candy at home.
