Let’s talk bar carts, or in my case rather, bar trays. They’ve become quite a trend in the last few years, and I can see why. Parties and get-togethers are somehow more fun when there’s a pretty display of your drink options.
Now that I’m pregnant, the traditional bar drinks aren’t often seen on my tray, but there’s still plenty of fun prego-friendly options out there, like fancy ginger ales (there’s a great one at Vons called Q Ginger Superior Ginger Ale that I’ve been loving) and pretty lemonades!
You’ll need a cart or tray, the drinks of course, appropriate drinkware, bar tools, garnishes, coasters, and cocktail napkins. An ice bucket or just a dish filled with ice come in handy. Fresh flowers, a candle, paper straws, and snacks add a nice touch. A decanter is a must if wine is served.
This bar tray changes around for every get-together, and sometimes I add a garland to the top of the mirror for birthdays and other bigger celebrations. Hope you enjoy what my “bar cart” looks like for the time being and find inspiration for your own!
