It’s the season of Gift Guides on Bond Girl Glam! First off, we’re starting with my beauty gift recommendations for the makeup, skincare, and hair aficionados in your life. I own almost every single thing in this post, as I like to do personal recommendations for gifts. QUICK TIP: You can click on the item on the collage below, and it’ll take you directly to the product!
Farmaesthetics Nourishing Herbal Cream // I have an overwhelming amount of skincare products, but I’ve been reaching for this cream above others as my moisturizer. Herbal scents are my go-to for that at-home spa experience, and I love how this cream applies and doesn’t leave a bad residue. This brand is newer to me and is perfect for the skincare junkie that has it all.
Mason Pearson Hair Brush // If someone you know loves taking care of their hair, this is the “wow” gift to get them. These hairbrushes have been around for ages and are considered top-of-the-line. I’m absolutely in love with the new white ones they’ve released!
Fresh Sugar Lip Balm Set // These are probably my favorite tube lip balms ever. They are so pleasant to apply and have a light, buildable color. Perfect for keeping in the purse.
Sigma Beauty Brush Set // I have this set and use it daily. It’s a professional quality brush brand that is amazing for the price, and this set actually has a lot of useful brushes. Perfect for someone who needs to refresh their makeup brushes or for someone just starting out and needing a good set.
Farmaesthetics Sweet Soy Oil // I have a million different face oils, and I love so many of them, but I’ve been reaching for this Roses & Geranium scented one at night for the last few months. It’s become a calming night-time routine that I look forward to. This brand is newer to me and is perfect for the skincare junkie that has it all.
T3 Travel Blow Dryer // Even though I air dry my hair most of the time, there are definitely moments I still need a good blow dryer. This one is the travel size from T3, which is perfect for me living in an apartment and hoarding 15-ish different hair tools in a drawer. Perfect for the traveler in your life or someone who lives in a smaller space.
Christian Louboutin Lipstick // This is the most over-the-top lipstick I’ve ever seen. It almost looks like a collectible or a Christmas ornament to me. This is definitely another “wow” gift for the beauty lover in your life; bonus points if they love Christian Louboutin shoes.
Laura Mercier Soufflé Body Crème // I have this super-luxe body cream in the Ambre Vanillè scent, and it’s such an amazing post-bath treatment. My clothes smell like my body cream long after I apply, so this is for someone who loves decadence.
Tom Ford Blush // This is my go-to blush. I have it in Flush, and I can’t recommend it enough. A little goes a long way. Perfect for the luxury makeup lover.
Gucci Eau de Parfum II // I keep trying to find a new perfume, but honestly this is my all-time favorite. I wore it on my wedding day and all throughout the dating years, so it has a lot of memories attached to it. Surprisingly I never hear anyone talking about it, but I always go back to it. To give you an idea of what it smells like: “soft, fruity floral that sparkles with notes of mandarin, blackcurrant, violet, and blackberry, smoothed with jasmine, heliotrope, and cedarwood. Playful, yet elegant. Notes: Mandarin, Bitter Orange, Blackcurrant, Violet, Blackberry, Jasmine, Heliotrope, Cedarwood.”
T3 Luxe Hot Rollers // Not much more glamorous than hot rollers, am I right? These are the newer edition of T3’s hot rollers, and they give your hair a beautiful bounce. If I’m strategic, I can get all of my hair in the 8 rollers. The rollers are pretty large, so it’s going to give you big volume. Put these on and do your makeup with them on and take them off right before heading out the door. Perfect for someone who is short on time but still wants their hair looking voluminous.
Molton Brown Shower Gel // This is a limited edition shower gel that I yet have to try, but I love the regular line from Molton Brown. It’s a luxe and very handsome-looking addition to anyone’s shower.
Laura Geller Baked Illuminator // This is my go-to highlighter. It packs a lot of punch and you just need a light stroke of the brush for some serious highlight. I don’t hear a lot of people talking about it, so you’d probably be able to surprise a beauty lover with this one.
Aveda Hand Relief Hand Cream // I keep this in my car, and it keeps my hands feeling amazing in the dry weather while smelling spa-like, typical of all things Aveda. Perfect for anyone who has hands, really.
Fresh Sugar Lip Polish // I’m not kidding when I say I love this brand. A lip scrub is a total must-have for me this time of year when I’m prone to dry, flaky lips yet still want to wear all my matte lipsticks. Lip scrubs make great gifts, because people rarely think to get them themselves but can’t live without them once they do.
Chanel Eyeshadow Quad // This iconic eyeshadow quad makes a perfect gift the classy lady in your life. Shh, don’t tell her, but my mom is getting this one for Christmas.
Bath Bombs // Of course, LUSH makes the best ones, but sometimes you don’t have time to make it to the mall. I’ve tried a few from Amazon, and they’re actually pretty good. There’s lot of choices and many come in pretty gift boxes.
Clarisonic Mia Fit // I recently got this smaller Clarisonic and absolutely love it. It’s so high-tech — it even charges with a USB in the wall like your phone! This design is ergonomic in the hand and takes up less space than my bigger, original Clarisonic. Use it every time you wash your face with a non-gritty cleanser; it’ll boost your cleansing power and let your skincare products work deeper. Perfect for the traveler in your life. They make more masculine black Clarisonic for guys too!
Aesop Hand Wash // I finally bought myself this amazing botanical extract hand wash a few months ago and fell hard for it. It’s very spa-like — I’m sure you’re starting to see a pattern in my preferences here. The pumps is great, and the gel has a bit of fine pumice in it for a gentle hand exfoliation. Something to note is that it’s in a plastic container; for some reason I imagined it was glass. Perfect for the person who has everything and appreciates the finer things in life.
neuLASH Lash Enhancing Serum // If you’ve ever wondered if this kind of stuff works, I can vouch for this particular brand myself. Perfect for someone who wants nicer-looking lashes but doesn’t want to get lash extensions or apply strip lashes all the time. I bought the single one for $100ish a while back, but Nordstrom is having a promotion for 2 of them for $150 right now. Maybe one for you and one for a gift?
T3 Whirl Trio Interchangeable Styling Wand // This is my most used hair tool. I use the tapered barrel almost exclusively. I find that my curls last longer with this wand somehow, which is a huge deal as a mom with long hair and limited time. You can also buy the wand with just the tapered tip and order other barrels later on. Perfect for anyone who loves to curl their hair but wants it to last a long time and look beautiful on the countertop.
slip Silk Pillowcase // I’ve been wanting one (maybe two) of these for a long time. Actually, I’d love a total silk bedding set someday. There are so many beauty benefits to sleeping on silk for your hair and skin. It’s an anti-aging, anti-sleep crease, anti-bed head pillowcase for beauty sleep — like an eight-hour beauty treatment every night. It washes in the machine on cold too! Perfect for anyone who spends good money on their hair and skincare already and wants to protect their investment.
Hope you enjoyed my gift ideas! Stay beautiful and give beautiful.
